The Wooksta!

From ebay:  Contrail Avro Lincoln with a set of Aeroclub props.

Model club night.  Been handed a Matchbox Tempest VI as a built up wreck.  Need to find a few bits but it's not that much work.  Plus I scored for another one, but this time boxed and unstarted.  That's going into the long term stash to rebuild my Tempest stock.

At Staffordshire Moorlands.....Academy 1/144th B-29 for £1.50....to be RAF.

Terry,

that is not a WhIf, unless you are planning to do something realy drastic to it.

Tiger Force 1946/47 with BPF style markings over Japan?  The Academy one I have to salvage may end up in those markings but with a pair of Grand Slams underneath.

I'd planned it for 617 Sqn - they were to have been part of Tiger Force anyway.  I did float this plan last year!

I've got a similar plan Lee, even went and bought a photo of the B-29 with two Grand Slams from the Boeing Archives.  It shows that it had all it's gun turrets (with guns too)
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

the man in the big red van handed over one very large package from a certain well known auction site today.
Containing one Airfix Vickers Valiant.

I'm holding off on the Valiant until next year.  The world and his wife will be building them and with the feeding frenzy that will be happening, I'd rather wait.  Plus, seeing as I'm only building Spitfires, it'd be next year at the earliest before I get to building it.  No point in having a BFO box cluttering up the place when I'm trying to get boxes out.

Might even see a discount or two!
