From ebay: Tamiya 1/12th scale Yamaha XV1000 Virago with touring rider.

Thought I'd missed it but then the winning bidder pulled out so I got it by default. Any old Virago wouldn't do, because it's this old edition with the "biker" rider than I particularly wanted.

I am going to have a root through the bits boxes and bone yard, to see if I can make parts to do a few different versions of the super Hind. I have a couple of dead AH-64's and some 25 mm bushmaster barrels also to scrounge parts from.I will also have a go at scratch building some of the bits too from styrene stock.

Mystery partially solved.  I think they may be from the Brigade conversion for the Mk XII and Seafire XV.  Looks like Brigade moulding.  Wish I'd picked them up now...
