Hey Greg, how much was the EVA pod, and how detailed?
Yesterday I picked up a Monogram (1/72?) Grumman Albatross. I questioned the scale, working it out at 1/67.
Glenn

Glenn I got mine for about A$35.  It's not too badly detailed - see here for a review.

Regards,

Greg

1 x 1/72 Hawker Tempest Mk1 conversion

Great service considering I ordered it on the 31st of last month and it arrived here 8 days later

Gondor

It only fits the Heller kit (which despite the raised panel lines is still a fantastic kit) as that's what it was intended to fit as opposed to the more modern Academy one.  I know, I've tried it.

From ebay:
Pavla Spitfire canopy set.  5 vacform ones, intended to fit the new Airfix I/IIa, comprising 3 mk I canopies and two PR ones, a standard PR canopy and one for a PR.I Type G.  They're sectioned to allow for open cockpits, so the standard PR one will be used to get another type G.

May have to get a few more of these, given the current unavailability of the Falcon sets.

I didn't know this kit existed until recently. I bid one a 1:72 vacform one a while back on ebay, but it went for some ridiculous price that was way beyond me. Got this from a guy on Britmodeller, for a pretty good price. Given the rarity and therefore price of the 1:72 vacform kit, I was willing to cross over to 1:144 for this one. It's also a rather large aircraft, so the smaller scale will mean I have space to display it. I love the aircraft, and the kit actually looks very nice. It's in a style of box i've never seen before - black, end-opening with the subject name in a gold box at the top, and the Airfix badge in the centre at the bottom. Dated 1984.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<

Hi Pyro, that's the boxing that came with the History of Airfix book, also came with a Kamov Ka25 (B version?).

Can remember building that when it first came out. Obviously has strong links with Croydon and the pub I use has loads of photos of her and her siblings + loads of AW types on the walls
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I built one last year for my club's SMW display. It was a sweet little kit to build as well. I think mine was also the '84 boxing judging by the box. Had a lot of fun building it as it was an easy kit to build and it looked pretty good when done as well.

On ebay:

Heller Spitfire XVIe - more stock rebuilding.  More modern tooling and I'm hoping it's not in that horrid black plastic.
