Been on Evilbay,
Got some 1/72 fuselage halves of a F-4 Phantom, F-14 Tomcat and their wings in a 'spares stash'.
In the same lot picked up 1/48 floats. I've seen some drawings and a poster of a C-130 Float Plane, so I'll add them to my Airfix 1/72 C-130K kit.
Not bad for a fiver.

Over the weekend, I got a pair of Frog/Novo kits: Bristol 138A high-altitude research aircraft,

I've never built that kit. I'll have to get one and give it a go. Seen some really nice built ones

Ebay is your friend.  There's at least 3 on at the minute.

The 138B was supposed to get a Kestrel, how about a bit of kitbashing?  Maybe add a second crew position & retractable undercarriage?
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

The Wooksta!

I've a plan to do one as a twin and I have the bits for it.  Sadly, no time.

Me too.  Perhaps we should swap ideas so we don't clash? (PM inbound)

Today, more additions for The Plan:
2x Pegasus Spitefuls (courtesy of Sequoiaranger - I need to get casting for some of the smaller bits)

Plus a package of goodies from Mossie, comprising:
3 x Airfix mk Ia  Built but will be salvaged, possibly as PR birds
1 unstarted PR XIX - which is brill as I was about to buy one to do as a later one with a Seafire 47 style cowl
1 Aeroclub Spitfire prototype conversion
1 Pavla mk II LR conversion (which has given me even more ideas)

From ebay (not Plan related)
Superscale Mosquito FB6 - not a complete sheet, but the one I did want it for is there.  Difficult sheet to find now.

My first order with HobbyEasy in Hong Kong arrived without a hitch:

Hobbyboss 1/35 BJ2022JC Yongshi SUV - I'll probably make it as a low budget PMC vehicle. It's a very nice kit, though.
Trumpeter 1/35 Aerosan RF-8 - I should have gotten the Vision models one, which has fewer accuracy issues. I may make this one as an all-weather Soviet hovercraft.
Trumpeter 1/35 Armored Aerosan - This is the enclosed, car-like aerosan.
Tamiya 1/100 IL-28 Beagle. It will definitely be whiffed into either a 1/144 or 1/72 plane.

Even with air mail shipping, the total price from HobbyEasy for the above was $15 less than the lowest price I could find in the US for just the models.

From HobbyEasy HK

Trumpeter 1/72 J-20 Mighty Dragon Stealth Fighter

Monogram 1/72 Rockwell B-1B Bone
Airfix 1/72 BAe Nimrod MK2.
Will be building my car kits to make some room.

From ebay:
5 Novo Spitfire F.XIVs
It's the old Frog F.14 kit with the V-1 (they're going begging).  The wing is awful, the canopy useless, but the fuselage is salvageable with a new wing - I tried it with my cast F21 wing and it'll fit with some surgery.  They'll do for some hackarounds - I'm tempted with an F21 two seater for a start.

Special Hobby 1/72 Comonwealth CA-12 Boomerang. All IP with no resin or brass. Some lovely fine and small detail in the cockpit. In fact it looks as though 70% of the parts are for the interior

4 different aircraft offered on the transfer sheet. 2 in the SW Pacific and 2 home based "interceptors" from 1945. Interestingly these latter 2 have waxed and polished exteriors. Might make a change.
