Just a quick question and not to drag the thread too far off topic, but if the war had dragged on, would Atlee have been the PM ?

PM sent, hopefully explaining.

Took delivery on monday of a kilo of moulding rubber from Tiranti.  6 hours later, a tidied up and corrected Pegasus Spiteful (second tooling) is in a mould that's curing.  ;D

Last night, monster casting session and I now have four Spitefuls with parts to do them as the hybrid hooked version.  The first one is already part assembled.

Looking ahead, the next one I fancy moulding is the Spitfire TR.8. Or possibly the (unbuilt but proposed) TR.18.

From ebay: Pegasus 1/48th snapfix V-2 rocket.

Snapfix or not, this is a really nice kit with good surface detail and really fine, sharp fin edges.

I have it in mind to scaleorama a V-2 to make a 1950s style rocketship, with a line of N-scale (1/148th/144th) passengers waiting to board it. I was going to use the Revell 1/60th V-2, but since this one is bigger, it's better.

As is usually the case.......  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

The Pegasus V2 builds nicely, just a bit of filler required....I have plans for one not finished yet....replicating a comic cover. ;)

Strangely my idea came to me this morning and an Airfix 1/72 Spitfire Mk I was purchased. It will go with my 3D models Mk II conversion. And yes I know Airfix now do a Mk II but I had the conversion set from last years Telford
