I always hope for the best.

Cheers Ian. Glad about that. It will make a nice centre piece to a collection. I do like Tamiya

Trouble with that tactic is that you could be digging your own grave

No - post war Kentucky ANG, unless Superscale up-scale some of their 1:48 subjects anytime soon. Freddy Ohr's 'Marie', Robert Moore's 'Stinger VII' or Richard Turner's 'Short Fuse Sallee' would all be extremely welcome !

Picked up the new Zvezda 1/350th HMS Dreadnaught battleship

What do you think of it? I don't do 1:350, but I'd possibly make an exception for this, and maybe the Academy Warspite.

Oh, and if someone kitted HMS Tiger (the battlecruiser) in any scale, I'd bite their arm off.

Neither do i as a rule but it is a nice kit, lovely details although it will need etch for the railings as none in kit.

BTW Trumpeter are doing the HMS Queen Elizabeth so there is a comparison to Warspite

Latest stash additions (from ebay) and intended to be the last before Telford (saving the pennies!)
Pegasus Supermarine Spiteful (second tooling)*
AZ Spitfire F.14
Heller DH Vampire (Black boxing)

*Ironic that I win it now.  They seem to be like buses - none for ages and then three turn up at once!  I am awash with Spitefuls (from various manufacturers, including myself) now...

Cheers - I'll think about getting one if I find one at a good price. And thanks for the heads-up on the Trumpy QE - another to look out for!

A modest addition today - one Hairyfix Spit I/IIa. Might well do it in silver, like the Hurricane I did last year, for a no-war scenario.
