I've been very, very bad over the last three days...

From LHS:

1/700 Trumpeter Littorio BB (to be refit for the 80's (NATO BB squadron))
1/72 Revell SR-71 w/D-21

From Deans Hobby Stop:

1/700 Tamiya Prince of Wales BB waterline (to be refit for the 80's (NATO BB squadron))
1/700 Soviet Hovercraft set
1/72 Matchbox Hawk 200
1/72 ESCI F-104 (bought for the Red Baron decals)
1/72 Testors F-117 (realized I didn't have any proper F-117's, only those ancient mutant AMT's in the stash)
1/100 Revell/Ceji F-14 (to be used for parts)
1/72 Testors NATO Weapons set
I exist to pi$$ others off!!!

Got an ESCI  1/72 C-47 yesterday for the Space/Sci Fi Theme build. Then got an Academy 1/72 F-15E Strike Eagle today at the LHS. This will be a RW build for the club's Two Week Challenge. It needs to be finished by the 19th. (Which isn't too bad, except I will be out of town for a week, so instead of 18 days, I get 11.)

We don't just embrace insanity here.  We feel it up, french kiss it and then buy it a drink.

From evilbay, an Italeri 1:35 Demag halftrack with Pak 38. Another one for post-apocalyptic zombie-bashing I think.

Condor 1/72 A4/V-2 from Monk Bar Models in York.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Just snapped up Revell's reissue of Heller's 1/72 Vampire today.

It will most likely end up in West Austrian markings.

After being dragged to the local hobby shop by my father (he recently had some out patient surgery on his foot), I came home with a Dragon 1/144th scale US Army Stealth Helicopter (the ones used to take out Osama), a Revell 1/1200 H.M.S. Duke of York, some paints.  I also go a couple LEGO figures as a bribe for my 6 year old nephew to be good when he is over this coming weekend.  All I had planned on getting at the hobby shop was a rattle can of semi-gloss and a rattle can of gloss clear coat, and to see if they had after-market decals and HO scale slot cars (for a decal project I was asked to do).  And like my father really had to drag me, I had planned on going one of these days by myself, but he suggested we go so I finished my coffee and grabbed my shoes.

1. Kora CAC Ca-15.

Is it any better than the CMR one?  I've a pair of the latter still in the stash.

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

PR19_Kit

Despite my efforts to diminish stock in The Loft, ChernayaAkula's posting about the RF-101C kit being available in the 'Operation Sun Run' schemes triggered a swarm of emails back and forth between me and Hobby Search......

Accordingly they've just emailed me to say a pair of those kits is about to grow my stash, at least when they've wended their way from Japan anyway.  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model
