Definately showing early signs  ;D

1. Kora CAC Ca-15.

Is it any better than the CMR one?  I've a pair of the latter still in the stash.

Have a word with brother Lazlo, he was in Prague as well, and it was him who found the CA 15 kits. He got one as well :)
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

Size (of the stash) matters.

My grandsons gave me a Special Hobby DH Hornet F1 kit today, as a 'Thank You Grandad' pressie.

Those boys have good taste......  ;D
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Somehow this 1/48 Fiat engined Breda wound up in my purchase of some Mr. Dissolved Putty.

Obviously  a set of well brought up young gentlemen.  My problem is a younger son who looks at the shelves where our stash is held, and says "Dad, this Airfix  Buccaneer is mine isn't it?"  NO IT IS NOT!

Parcel this morning from one of the dudes on Britmodeller:

1 Airfix Spitfire Ia (new tool)
1 Aifix Spitfire Vc (it'll be a Vb - the C wing is crap and the cannons I want for an F21)
1 Frogspawn Spitfire FXIV
The wing will get replaced with an F21 wing and I'm seriously thinking about a two seat late mark Seafire trainer or COD.  However, I may well do that with a Ventura Seafire F47, or various Ventura Spitfires.  Much easier and I want it carrier capable.

Dare I ask  what you plan to do with the Deltic.......Union Pacific war-bonnet livery.......broad gauge Brunellian....Virgin Inter City.......or go totally wild and build it as  a  garden model railway loco, a seat on top and a mongoose driving?

Ahh, they would be nice - want her to be an RAF Strike Command defense suppression escort.  Got one of Freightdog's superb ventral tanks, Mcolm sent me loads of Martels, and Weaver sent me a pair of Red Tops - cheers boys!

I got the Valom 1/144 Me-1101 and TA-183 kit. It's pretty nice, with FOUR planes in the box... which could have been 1/3 the size and still fit the sprues. The plastic looks OK; thick injected canopies, NO cockpit (not even an opening) but there is a PE fret for the Me-1101 night fighter's radar (there was never such a thing, other than in Dragon's and now Valom's kits) droptanks and X-4 rockets. The decal sheets are outstanding, with Hinomarus included. There are also four identical 1/144 standing figures.

The Deltic will be in 617 Sqn markings, anti-flash white.....with all those engines it has to be a bomber.

Just bought.......skulls....lots of skulls. ;D
