My Stash Just Grew Again (2011)

Went Christmas shopping in Darlington this morning and popped into the Art Shop to see what they had................................................................................ and bought a 1/48 Academy F-15I Ra'am.  :blink: ;) ;D

This was the kit that we got back after the post office had finished with it, we're not sure if they just jumped up and down on it or drove over it and it was well packed before sending or we thought it was, luckily it doesn't happen very often.

From Fred Aldous in Manchester - Airfix 1/72nd Beaufighter TF.X - thought I wanted the whole wings or at least the engines for a project, but  I wish I'd done some more research now, because the inner bit of the wing is moulded to the fuselage and the engine nacelles are rubbish. Oh, well, live and learn...... :banghead:

Saturday morning arrivals were a 1/48th Italeri RAH-66 Comanche and a Hasegawa F-15 (the early Hales boxing with only 4 Sparrows and a centreline tank. Also Classic Publications Ju287 book but it's not mine til Christmas Day.

A good friend of this site gave me this in the foolish expectation of me building it.( bless him)





Im over the moon with it as Ive been after one for an age,but my white fiver was stuck to a sucked wine gum in my suit pocket.
