Propper one, though I may get the new one for another idea I have......

The Wooksta!

The new ones are vile and universally hated by fans.

Just won on ebay:
Esoteric Spitfire VIII/IX
Beautiful resin kit from 1990, with white metal and etched brass.  The equal of what CMR are doing now.  I've had four and got rid of them all.  Just didn't like it.  This one though, I will be using as a master for various bits.  Or I may just build it.

Got the new 1/72 Revell NH90 NFH Navy kit today from work, looks very nice in the grey plastic and the new parts look great although the Torpedoes look a little iffy.  ;D

Radish

Think the new Revell Airbus 400M in 1/72nd will be awesome. Thinking a gunship version??

Meanwhile.....

Revell 1/72nd Kaydet as a bomber/recon for the Bolivian AF which Wilkinson used when he partially rebuilt the Bolivian AF. (For those of you uneducated in the important things in life, Wilkinson was the Squadron Commander  of the SE5A unit which had an enormous rivalry with Biggles' Camel squadron!)

Revell 1/144th F-19 Stealth Fighter....expect a multitude of stealth fighters over the coming months....hardly any, of course, in grey.

Revell 1/35th Corporal Missile....expect the Meerkats to be using this against the nasty mongooses.

Revell Star Wars AT-TE "Easy Kit" ....after detailing and mods, it'll be German.

A dinosaur..... ;)

The Wooksta!

On layby at the LHS:

2 x Airfix Spitfire IXc
1 x Frog Blackburn Shark (want it as a companion piece for my HMS Oceanic Swordfish and Gloster Nemo)

Wouldn't mind another Fulmar too.

I might have a spare of the radial version that I know I'll never build.

I saw that one - someone here tipped me off. Best of luck with it.  The plastic is horrible, very tough, and you have to follow the instructions to the letter.  It's not an easy kit at all.  Nicely detailed though. I got rid of mine years ago.

I remember buying some Hornets from Mike Eacock (Mr Skybirds) at Donnington in 1995/1996 and he was seething with rage, almost frothing at the mouth, about the Magna Scimitar which he claimed was a copy of his.

Indeed, I've heard that more than once, one source commenting that a small panel line fault on the Skybirds kit was faithfully reproduced on the Magna one. I've only got a Skybirds one, my Loft floor isn't strong enough to support the Magna version........  ;)

I have a Fine Molds Ki-100 (the radial version of the Ki-61) but it is awfully lonely. Let me know what you want for it as I hate to see my kits unhappy and alone !
