OK, I'll admit it, I was expecting a biplane conversion but this is good, too.

Pity you didn't go the high-mounted monoplane wing as per the Fokker E, the Blackburn Type 1. the Bristol M1C, the Morane-Saulnier Type N or even the Fokker D.VIII; it would have made an interesting variation (even though Junkers did produce the low-wing CL.I in the last year of WW1).

Good WW1 paint scheme!

It'll look great

But even better than a 109 probably would be a He 51 or Ar 68 was in retro look  ;D

yeh Old Wombat - i have seen a grainy picture of a biplane version of the 109 - I think they gave it a test fly, but unfortunately the top wing disengaged with the bottom wing and the plane crashed, killing the pilot.  Don't think there were any more attempt at a 109 biplane.

But it is on my "to-do" list.

I got no official camo - maybe a full lozenge could be different on the competition table - would be an eye catcher in 48 scale (I am too old and blind for 72 any more)

That's one of my whifs I'm afraid: http://www.xs4all.nl/~tozu/whif/L46-me109e-4dd.htm

As far as I know there never was a real 109 biplane.

TomZ - you make me feel such a drook - not sure that probably be it - I can't remember because one reads so much

Even so, the biplane 109 will be a great whatif
