An armor guy, who builds airplanes almost exclusively, that he converts to space fighters-- all while admiring ship models.

Can't wait to see this combo finished!

Seems a "waste" of Japanese cutting-edge technology to make Mistels out of their new jets, though. Germany used "WAR-WEARY" bombers for their Mistels, and because they were twin-engined, the bomber's fuselage could be packed with explosives. A single-engined jet with the jet in the fuselage wouldn't seem to have much room for extra explosive.

Maybe a "surprise" aircraft---Allied radar picks up small flight of Japanese aircraft, so sends up small flight of American fighters--"small" flight of Japanese planes break apart to form LARGE flight with built-in escort fighters! Surprise!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.
