That's some detail given the scale.  Explains the slowness.
Can't wait to see them all completed.

Hi all,

I'm really sorry for the slow builds (I shame myself) but I booked some progress on the Vampire and the Hornet (no pictures)

Friend at the local hobby store was also lacking will to finish its vampire, so we motivated one another to make a common build an to display the result at the store.

Up to you to guess which is mine ;)

I'm pleased with the result, had to paint the fin flashes as the decals were too fragile. And despite the very matt decals, no silvering what so ever :) :) :)

Later all,

Rough week in sight so I don't expect to model a lot :(

bye bye

Spooky.  I was just saying to Comrade Harps today how I didn't like the looks of the Bignose Vampires.
Excellent work though.  Very well done.

When/did Yugoslavia consider the Vampire?

Hi all,

it's been a while, not that I stopped building models, I was just way slower than usual (yes yes it's possible)  :banghead: :banghead:

Anyhow, I'm back and here are the latest realisations (3 in 2 years, wow that's productivity ^^)

MIG 3
trumpeter kit 1/48, Eduard photo etch for cockpit and flaps, Airfix decals, and painted shark mouth

Jet Provost
Airfix 1/72, from the box, airfix stand and Danish decals from I don't remember where

Foland Gnat
Airfix 1/72, PJ production pilots, painted lightning and Spanish markings

and some work in progress, F84G from Academy... I'm thinking PLAAF markings?

talk to you soon :)

and to all a nice evening

PS: not happy with pictures, might make new ones
