Neat looking jet wing

Boxart shows a small air inlet and states that it's a ramjet fighter, kit has what looks to be turbofan

not sure how much leg room that would leave for the pilot...

Not much, but I managed to scratch a cockpit with enough legroom that leaves a tiny bit of space behind the fan. About 4mm times 72 = about 30 cm (10 inch).

That turbojet ramjet story did catch my eye as well...

This is progressing way faster then usual... must be the high amount of parts 

in flight cockpit painted




Pilot painted, has a bit of a hydra look


the kart cockpit painted


seatbelt are eduard super fabric seatbelts... easy to bend but lacking a bit of volume in my opinion


and the two birds assembled, fit is good, filler is just to be sure






painting is approaching, and I don't have colors chosen yet...

Second that, and that's the reason why I won't buy this kit. Might be whiffy, but the Katsudori's layout with a nose intake does not make sense at all...  The I'd rather close the nose and the tail and hang some ramjet tubes under the wings?

Turbine or not, the wooden floor of the living room being in place, I got permission to instal a temp workshop... and what should happen, happened, the birds are painted 

Negative positive sheme is first for me, but kinda fun to make (on a small plane, not on a b52)




Now gloss coat, wash and decals

Anyone an idea for the nationality??

Anyhow, Swiss is an option!!

After reviewing what the decal sheets in the house had to offer (I need 8 identical roundels at least), I can choose between:

Swiss


Austrian


Yougoslavian


Omani


US low viz


South Africa modern low viz


Algeria


Guinea Bissau

Swiss or Austrian the red/ white would defo look good on that camo.
