Nice to see everyone, and thanks again for the invite to bring some models.

Would you say the Swept-Wing Magister on it's flying stand was an asset or a pain? If the latter, I'll come up with a more conventional stand if I bring it to another show.

Unusually the Dork was quite well behaved on Sunday, only had to threaten him with the restraining harness twice. In terms of acquisitions, we were remarkably restrained, I spent a massive £4.50 at the MDC stand, whilst my 'charge' spent just £3.99 on a Tamiya MiG 19 (the famed white fiver did tremble a wee bit at one point, but in the end it was spared the rigor of being seen in public for the first time since the 'old king' was alive !) - As ever a friendly and 'cosy' show. Good to see some regulars: OGL, Thorvic, Overkiller, Falcon, Howard of Effingham, Geoff, and a 'new' face... Weaver – nice to meet you at last!

Truth-be-told, both Dork and I were so emotionally overcome by meeting our colleague from the darker recesses of Stockport that we had to retire early to partake of the 'waters' at our regular stopover... The Euxton Arms.

Unfortunately whilst at the aforementioned hostelry things got a little hazy. I do seem to recall the world famous Lamb & Mint barms' being even more delicious than usual – so much so, that extra's were ordered – I also recall, just,  that the beer was extremely palatable... Which was probably the last time that I saw the Dork clearly. I know we were talking about something vaguely modelling related, and basking in the wonder of meeting the Baron of Stockport, I also remember driving home across the moss feeling well fed and warm (of course I could have had the heater turned-up too high), I just don't recall much about what I did with the Dork...

Hmmm, come to think of it there was an odd gurgling sound coming from somewhere at the back of my Honda on the way-in to work this morning, better check under the travel rug at lunchtime...

Really enjoyed myself yesterday too, and I was very restrained in my purchases too.....but never mind eh??
Got to meet a few familiar faces and a couple of new ones too, and also got to display a few of my builds, which was nice.
