What is the Brotherhood of the Rafale? The Bortherhood is an alliance of "What-If" modelers who are passionate to all the possibilities of the Dassault Rafale. Memebers work in any scale, any kit manufacturer, building Rafales from any Nation(nonfictional or fictional) in any branch of military and or government.

Alright I'm caving! Next trip to my LHS I'm grabbing a Rafale

I've been meaning to do one in my VFC-111 Arctic camo for some time. Drew up some Superbugs so far.

Scheme 1 - Gray

Scheme 2 - Green

As soon as I grab some Rafale line drawings I'll whip up the profiles. Thanks for the kick in the rear to get going FAR!

Can anyone tell me the differences between the Navalized Rafales and the Air Force versions? I want to do a two seat carrier capable bird but I can't find any drawings of the carrier version.

This might help - best I can find at short notice.

There was to be a two seat Naval Rafale - the Rafale N but it got cancelled.

As to differences, I think the most visual externally would be the beefier undercarriage.

So does anyone know where I could get some VFC-111 decals? Preferable in 1/72 or 1/144. I want to build one of the Revell kits.

Thanks man! I'm working on the outline in Illustrator right now. One two-seater Naval Rafale coming up!

Now I wonder what the USN would wind up calling it? Hmmm...thoughts?

I have a Rafale that will be getting EJ200 (Typhoon) engines and Flying Fist (899NAS) markings. Possibly a few other mods as well, mostly small details like Typhoon countermeasures pods, IRST ball, retractable IFR probe, etc. It should get done soon, as it's high on the to-do list.
