Alternately you could work something out with the TADS/PNVS turret from an Apache.

With regard to the optics.......I remember reading somewhere that the Russian optics n sensors are equal to the western ones.......How do the Israeli optics/sensors measure up...?

A number of current sensors and such used by American forces were developed in Israel (Litening, Sniper, etc), so I'd say pretty good.

I was thinking about that... the first problem is I don't have a zulu Cobra. Second problem is I can't fins the Apache's TADS/PNVS turret! I also want to save that extra ugly Apache nose for the utility version, and stick with the nice curvy sphere for this nice curvy version.

Im going to work on this until the Playoffs start and then I am probably taking the rest of the day off- Go Steelers!!

Found a lego piece that should work just fine

Glued the thinnest sprues I could find on the inside. This will help with a rounded shape when I sand it down after covering it (Kind of forget to think in 3D when I made the initial cuts, should have take them a little higher to leave more blending room with the curves)

Slow progress continues!!  ;D :banghead:
