Vehicles with a Hang-over

Those Zil-4906s are excellent!

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the same platform is used for the 9K33-Osa (SA-8 Gekko) carrier vehicle:

Quick'n'dirty of something I've been considering as a Patchwork World artillery tractor:



It probably wouldn't use the M3 track system as shown though, since the whole reason the bodies will be spare is because the tracks are being nicked for other things.

should probably use surplus M3 Stuart suspension like the Mack T5 ?

I do actually have a Stuart, though I'm not sure I want to do that with it. What I am considering is converting a Hanomag to 6x6, so that'd leave me two spare track systems...
