Yeah, I know it's from 'an earlier time', but this is bad:

I love the way the most impressive strap line they can come up with for the Venom is that it's "radio equipped": a bit like 1980s adverts that proudly proclaim that the toy/car/domestic appliance was "COMPUTERISED!" or "DIGITAL!". Nowadays it'd be remarkable if it didn't have a digitial computer in it....

Ah yes, I have a few of those 'Eastern' sailplane kits too, ALL of them are pretty terrible from the box art point of view.

Rear half of the fuselage appears a bit, shall we say, truncated? And those horizontal stabilisers on the Spitfire just look like slabs.

Just found a couple from A-Model that I'm pretty sure are research failures:





Those look like Tarawa/Wasp class LHAs in the background, and I strongly suspect the Piasecki HUP-1/2/3 was long gone from USN service by the time they were built.

The choppers look good though.  Nicely busy schemes with all those stencils and markings.  The bottom one I particularly like.
Yellow and faded olive drab.  I'll have to remember that.

I wouldn't have noticed the ships in the background, other then background if I'm honest, but the artwork is quite nice. Looks as though there's been a slight change in style by A Model ?

Maybe it was a time vortex like in the "Final Countdown" 

Putting my rivet spotting specs on it looks like a TARAWA class with the Blue HUP, and a WASP with the Olive drab HUP. (based on the stern elevator on the TARAWA and the forward island and hint of starboard deck edge lift on the WASP class and a few other clues). 

Like Zenrat I do like the faded drab paint, which made me jump to google to see if that was a real scheme- appears it was but only got a very few images in that color.  I was a bit surprised to see a Navy HUP in green.  Wonder if that was for Combat SAR?

Stumbled upon this rather contemporary but doubtful work of art - check the rear fuselage/fin position... Wonder how THIS Tornado might look like in a profile view?
