The art itself is good enough , but the list of contents on the Italieri ZiG-3 AT guns made me crack up.

Especially when you consider who used it.

I know what you mean but in all fairness the phrase "serving the guns" crops up in a lot of books, especially when talking of the age of black powder.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

One of the worst that sticks in my mind is the old Aurora Cessna 310. The close-up with folks loading their bags is hardly a C-310. The one in the background on climbout is passable as a 310, but is the later version with the swept tail & the kit is the earlier straight tailed version.

That would be because I haven't posted any.

Seeing this in another thread made me think it deserved to be here as well:

And out of alignment to boot.

Think the ventral fins are a bit big and the intake centrebody a bit small too.

 All true!!! Lousy artwork indeed.

I'll add a ship kit to the mix.  The artist really needs to research the shades of paint the USN used.  Even brand new paint in the bright sun wouldn't give you this much of a contrast!

He made the gray a neutral light gray when it supposed to be light blue gray with hints of purple and the dark navy blue one step away from black!  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
