Looks as if Tophe did the artwork

I know it's in a book I have around here somewhere....

Aw come on, that's a bit unfair.  Tophes work is much better than that.
;D

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

What didn't they understand about 'perspective'?

Not to mention 'twist'!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

I think the key word in your comment Kit is "they". Certainly more then one person involved in doing the boxart and they were almost certainly not talking to each other at the time  :banghead:
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Agreed wholeheartedly!

They are just physical manifestations of collisions between enigma & conundrum particles.

Any aircraft can be improved by giving it a SHARKMOUTH!

I could say the same thing about some of the models I've built lately, the port side looks totally different to the starboard side and different placed things like wings. Almost as if there was two people making the masters ---

Of course the model inside could actually look like that.

;D
In want of hobby space!  The kitchen table is never stable.  Still managing to get some building done.

Weaver

You could modify the model to actually look like that, then display it with the box to 'prove' that it was build 'straight out of the box'.  ;)

Oh, it spins?  :o To produce artificial gravity for the hapless pilot?

You know... I actually wonder how that would work...  if you made a forward section that was symetrical all the way around and aerodynamically the same no matter which way it heads into the wind..... if you could have it do that... like.... say you roll the aircraft 45 degrees left but the nose and cockpit are still sitting level. You could roll completely and the cockpit stay stable...   this wouldn't prove to be as useful in other movements, but still..... Could prove to have some sort of advantage.

Yes.  You could dogfight without spilling your tea.   ;D

Brilliant! This would definitely be a Bri'ish invention then.  ;D

Knowing quite a bit about lateral accelerations and how they affect vehicles and people as I do, I could go on at some length about how that WOULDN'T be a good idea, for the pilot or the tea.

But instead I'll just say 'NOoooooooooooooooo!'
