Nailed it. facebook now has an option to make an 'AI' image, and I refuse to use it. Most of my replies to stupid posts are Effin' Birds cartoons and GIFs, there's one for every occasion!

I don't think Bristol 129 was ever actually built. As far as I can tell, it was a proposal for Specification F7/30 but was rejected early on, like some other designs.

NARSES2

I've always thought  it was quite an elegant looking aeroplane.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

I first thought it was a bodge-up of a Vampire and a Gunbus ... I kinda like it.

Tophe probably would have loved it.

I've finally found the inspiration for the Bristol 129;

The Pemberton-Billing P.B. 25 (possibly the P.B. 23)

Coooer, so it is.   :thumbsup:

You could Whiff that PB 25 into a 129 without too much difficulty. But a LOT of rigging!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Weirdly enough the design of the 129 predates the 127 and 128 yet has a lower number. All three predate the 123, the biplane officially entered in the F.7/30 competition. No one has been able to figure out why this is so.

Good to see he improved on the SBF(V)-3a art by adding a ventral fin in front of the tail prop. :thumbsup:
