Stephane Beaumort, the designer of the Seavan, used to be on here. I greatly miss his exceptional work.

Intermeshing rotors have always looked strange/dangerous to me, but it is more compact and less sophisticated than a coaxial setup I suppose. It's a good idea, but looks very tail heavy IMHO, I'd move the rotors and turbines back or add a long fuselage plug behind the cabin.
