He has a whole string of various WHIFs.  Couldn't find him mentioned here previously though.

I particularly like the Martin B-51s, especially the RAF one!

That's because here he's Logan Hartke. ;D

Yep! Real name here, moniker on DeviantArt. Hello! Unfortunately, much of my early stuff is no longer viewable since Photobucket decided it didn't want to host images anymore.

Here's my thread, though. I've been around for a decade now. Basically most of my adult life.

Ah.  Hello :)

I found your Deviantart work when searching for Finnish WHIFs, given their 100th birthday this year.  Always fun to mess with people's heads; "remember those Black Widows that the Ilmavoimat used...?"

Logan Hartke

I'm going to need to re-upload those images somewhere one of these days, but here's where that storyline started. It's actually meant to represent just a single airframe, and it all started because one of our Finnish members, perttime, got the closest guess on the number of layers in a previous image. I'm glad you like them, let me know if there's a particular image you're curious about and I'll make sure to re-upload it!

That's cool. One with DB engines would be even more interesting. There was a paper project to do that.

Check this out.

Looks pretty good, but the comments on how 'correct' the markings are just stupid.

You just can't do that with a Whiffed model, it is the way the builder SAYS it is!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

that Sunderland looks like it should be far more spectral,  it looks positively ghostly.  and I don't know why!
