Don't know if these from Small Brown Dog on dA have made it here:

Looks like Tophe got his P-51 and P-38 Whiff designs mixed up.  ;D ;)

The 6-engined V-tailed bombers look interesting too.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Yes, I made the drawing as profile of this P551D at https://www.whatifmodellers.com/index.php?topic=4461.2085
adding 3 derivatives.
Great discovery!

More from SBD on dA:

QuoteAfter making a 7000 mile journey, B229A Behemoth makes her final touch down at Duxford on 2nd March 1980. The sound of the B229 is something you never forget. Under the turbocharged muted throb of the 6x super wasp radials there is an almost eerie howl from the Ion thrust tunnels.
She can still be seen today as a static exhibit in the American Air Museum.

Apologies as the photo is a not at its best after nearly 40 years. I remember that the weather was very good for early March, almost being like July and it really sticks in my mind just as if it was no more than three weeks ago or so...

I'm sure some of our senior members remember that day...

I found on pinterest, directing to Deviant Art, a weird push-pull warbird plane with 2 rear engines and no fin:
https://www.deviantart.com/jimbowyrick1/art/Veeblfitzer-P-105A-Armadillo-Fighter-732977456
and it does not seem presented here already, according to the search tool :-\ ;D
