Bon Giorno!

I am glad you are using the old Hawk kit for your whif. I like to use old kits, too. Sometimes they are just simple and fun. I made a Bf-109Z from the Hawk kits and it turned out nicely.

I recently made a whif from a Faller kit (c. 1962--I have had it all this time), the "He-121".

Welcome to the "monkey house" that is whif-world!
My mind is like a compost heap: both "fertile" and "rotten"!

Welcome aboard.

Really thanks for your welcome.

Yes, it's true. I love old kits...I think it's because I always wanted to do modeling, but I was able to start only two years ago, and i have 45 now...
...anyway I bought and set aside kits in the last thirty years ...

First of all, welcome!

You show good taste in modeling projects and look forward to seeing more of your work.

And I also like the older kits, I actually have more fun working with them than the more modern kits. You are lucky to have that Hawk Bf 109 kit, I wish I had one now and remember building a few of those when I was a kid.

Thanks.

Gave Grey primer, and some red i will mask.

I imagine the national insignia for the Union and the Texas confederate... I will try to print the decals...

This is the final camo, now it's time to paint details.

I tried to print custom decals...  Terrible result. I don't know... problem with sheets or mine ?!
I will try again, but for this Bf i used some (mediocre) decals bought in Ebay.
Finished model, applied decals... now it's time for another coat of future, then some washing.

I found two propaganda posters of that war...  ;D

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Not really. I'm a sci-fi and science fiction fanatic, but i don't like a lot Turtledove. I consider his books too verbose and at the same time not too detailed. His characters are two-dimensional, with no real personality. IMHO of course !
About civil war ucronia i prefer the old 'Bring the Jubilee' (1956) by Ward Moore.
Indeed, just a few books about civil war ucronia have been published in Italy...  :banghead:
I wrote a short story about a future civil war in Italy, but i'm not so good to translate in english...
