QuoteIs the ASMP missile under the belly the one from the Mirage 2000N kit BTW?

Yes, the ASMP came from the Heller Mirage 2000N kit.   I deliberately chose the 2000N over the 2000B/D 'cause of the ASMP.   I must say, while the basic Heller Mirage 2000 kit is excellent and quite a nice little model in itself, the extra bits for the 2000N are moulded in a horrible, soft, white plastic.  The ASMP in particular fitted really badly together.  Thankfully the drop tanks were better fitting.

Hehe, I just LOVE the description en Francais!

I built a Mirage IVP, updated from the standard Heller IVA of course, and scratchbuilt the belly mounted ASMP as no-one did one at the time. Needless to say Heller came out with the 2000N kit about 6 months later! As you say, the add-on bits to the standdard 2000 kit seemed to have been designed by a different committtee, and need a LOT of work to look right.
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Thanks.  Discussing it with you was useful and pointed out some of the problems with my original design.
