Whiffie Guest Presenters Ideas

Been trying to think how to get a little more involvement in the Whiffies and make them a little more like the Oscars that I have been ~~stealing~~, ah, borrowing ideas from.

So, how about guest presenters?

Two options I have come up with are asking for volunteers or picking past winners.

What I would like would be for the presenter to send a pic of themselves and a small write up (lead in speach) for the category they are presenting. You know, a couple lines of attempted witty remarks that we all groan at during all those awards shows (remember your audience and the fact that there may be children present).

If you volunteer (or get picked) I will send you your category and you will be able to see the 5 nominees from the poll. You then send me a pic and your speach ending with something appropriate like "and the nominees for Best ... are" and I will add you into the awards show.

So, what do you think?
All ideas, suggestions, and volunteers will be thoughtfully reviewed.

Figured Radish for the HOG most original category if he volunteers.

PW, if we could get actual starlets involved, I would be all for that.

Starlets / STARs sound good -- how about Capt. Slow -- latest 1/48th (or similar value) Airfix kit for prize ??

or Ewen Macgregor -- star wars kit ----- or his brother, Colin Macgregor (Tornado pilot) -- kit of an RAF jet ?
