I don't know if they do them out you way, but when I was a kid, you could get a ring shaped frisbee
( throwing / gliding outdoor toy ) and it looks about right for 1:72.

Seen them, thought about them, but I'll probably wind up going all JMN and try to get the exact wingspan, which I believe works out to 6.556" in 1/72nd. If I can find the Sweet ones in 1/144th I'll grab a couple, need one for another project anyway.

I'm chomping at the bit, but I'm convinced that no hobby shop in the Toronto area deals with Sweet Models, in fact some guys have never even heard of them.

Might have to go the mail order route.

Aviation World used to have a few sweet kits. I wish I would have bought some, but I thought they were anime crap or something....I had no idea I would have got a kit, a cartoon character, and a carrier deck section !

Went over that place with a fine-toothed comb, nothin', zip, nada. Picked up some box that said it was a 1/144th Zero, and it probably is, but since it's pre-built with only the gear to put on it's not really suitable for the other use I have for one, might be able hack and chop it into the concept above though. But I prefer something that I can take from a pile of parts to a complete model, it just seems so much more satisfying. Maybe I'll ask if they can order a couple for me.

I saw some Polo in a shop the other day, should have picked them up along with the Twiglets, Irn Bru, and Glacier Mints.
