Yet another national asset slung on the scrap heap..........

I installed a test system there in late 1978, in Building 307 according to my Service Report. It was designed to test materials used for compressor and turbine blades, but years later, maybe the late 90s, it showed up at Rolls-Royce Derby! They were a trifle amused that I knew all about it already.
