A strange Mig...

 I'm building a F-84F used in the movie 'The Hunters' (1958, Robert mitchum, Robert Wagner), a war movie about dogfights in Korean war.
Use an old Airfix 1:72.
Drew and printed decals my own.
F-84F were use as fake Mig 15. I want to reproduce the airplane of the North Korean ace, called 'Casey Jones' by Americans...

Close to a Top Gun 'MiG' and a T-6 'Zero', this would make a whole family. The one you are referring too is the most unknown, congratulations to have find it.

Built a 'Mig 28' two years ago, one of my first model after the 'long dark age'... and i will build a 'T6-Zero' soon... probably from the movie 'Operation Pettycoat' (A T6 without changes).

A lot of putty to close fusolage... were canyons !!!


Time for wings: now i must sand the cyano glue i used instead of putty.

You could do all the "Migs" and "Yaks" shown in the John Wayne movie, "Jet Pilot".  They were F-86s, F-80s, F-89s and a couple of prototypes (which escape me at the moment).

Why not, i have that movie. Remember a P-80, light blu underface and green up. A big '2' on fusolage.
Italian title of the movie is really stupid: 'Il pilota razzo e la bella siberiana' (The rocket pilot and the beautiful siberian lady)...
