I have Testors(Hawk) F-84F kit waiting for the exactly same camouflage.  ;)
And also F-100, green T-33, black T-38/F-5 and Puma waiting for the movie Red Stars.

From the evil side of the Iron Curtain. In old Czechoslovak movie our Aero L-29 Delfin with American marking played role of the F-84 aggressor.
In the real word and wild fifties, American Thunderjet was shot-down at Czech side of the czechoslovak-germany border by MiG-15...

Please, you know the names of same war movie from east side of cold war ? I believe is very difficult, but i would like to reach some of them...

Movie is stupid communistic propaganda from hard times of the communistic "normalisation" after soviet army invaded into Czechoslovakia (ending The Prague Spring 1968).
But i think there wasn't big difference between stupid propaganda movies from both sides of the Iron Curtain.

You're right !

Very interesting.  I wonder how representative it was of Czech fighter control at the time?   Seems very early WWII in style.  Drawing on glass with chinagraph pencils to plot course, speed and altitude.  They may as well be pushing little models across a table.

I don't know, but i think Fighter control in the 1951 year was still WWII-style. Early fifties were time of the big air force modernizatinon. After some Avia S-92 (postwar built Me-262) and Yak-23 jets, Czechoslovak Air Force gets hundrets of modern jets MiG-15/Bis, Il-28 bombers, radars and other ground equipment.

This looks good, Kruaxi! I have the same kit (a Heller boxing) that I'm going to do for the Africa GB.
Some of my models can be found on my Flickr album >>>HERE<<<
