In this case, it stands for "Panzer Trägflugel", or what you get by combining an old Fujimi 1/76th jagdtiger with
the front half of an old Revell 'box-scale' cruiser of some sort. ( Couldn't tell you which-it was part of a box
of ancient built-ups I was given about 10-12 years ago. ) Oh, and its jet-propelled. Pictures tomorrow.

What, of little old me? Anyway, the work as it stands:

Wow! You'll have to add a shark mouth to that!

Heh. great minds, and all that ;D I'm actually thinking about a 'Cachalot' mouth-long thin slash of red that
would only be visable when the craft is foil-borne. The only real decisions left to make for the build concerns
the secondary armament. I'm torn between  using my last Nitto 1/76th flak 38 aft, with the suspect remote
turret from the Airfix He 177, or a matched pair of upper turrets from the Ju 188. The former would give it
more of an S-boot look, the latter would be more streamlined.

Thinking about torpedoes, too, but that might be overkill...

buzzbomb

Wow,,, looking alright.

MiB

mmm....sounds good....

And here she is, armed and primered. I'll probably go with a fairly conventional S-Boot color scheme. I need to do a little more
research-all the builds I've seen had a dark grey deck, pale grey upper hull with a thin black cheat line* above a red lower hull.
The cover of the Osprey book on the S-boots shows one with what looks like a dark grey lower hull, though, and as I really do
want to do the whale mouth as described above, thats what I'll probably wind up using.

The last real construction decision concerns the forward foils. The current form is fairly modern, but I like the look. Still, I wonder
if it wouldn't look better with planes similar to the stern set...
Oh, and the peculiar treads on the engines are nebelwerfer racks.

You could always do it in camouflage.

I particularly like the Baltic splotch pattern

Where's that 'eyes buggin' out' smiley?! Wow, thanks, Thiel! Food for thought, for sure!

Very, very nice!
Quite reminiscent of my 'Panzer Boot' - who else wants to give gunboats a go?  How about an Allied answer to these very fast boats?

I didn't know about that-is the build still on the forums someplace?
