Haven't yet decided on a camouflage scheme. Won't be that boring all grey though!!

Royal Flight ? It could take the State Coach and horses on those Royal Tours where you absolutely need to impress

Which junior airman gets the job of shovelling?

Whichever one isn't paying attention when the senior warrant officer asks for volunteers and all his mates take a step backwards  ;D

Ah, yes, the dozy one you find in any squad...   ;)

Ah yes!! I was that soldier!!

WO 2 -"All those not wishing to volunteer for fatigues take one step forward. Gunner ____, stand still!" .

In truth, he was a good NCO & fair with it. I knew someone else would get "volunteered" next time! My "reward" after I got my stripe awarded was  being "volunteered" for guard duty & was put in charge of the guard at the TA camp where we were deployed. Next day. I was excused all duties (as were the other members of the guard!).

Got one of those VC-10's in the stash with the same box art.

Think I paid a great deal less for it however.

£60!!!!! ID this bloke insane??? Although I suppose someone will end up buying it.
My question is... how many of the people who buy these ridiculously overpriced kits of yesteryear are actual builders or collectors, and how many are just going to relist them and drive the prices up even more?

Yeah, it's a free market, and fair market value is whatever a willing buyer and willing seller can agree on, but that doesn't mean you don't have the right to call a ripoff artist precisely what he is either.

PR19_Kit

That's just RIDICULOUS!

It's not as if they are that rare, I saw 2-3 at the MK show y'day and they were around the £10 mark. I've got enough for my plans or I may have got one then.

- Can't be bothered to do the proper research and get it right.

Another ill conceived, lazily thought out, crudely executed and badly painted piece of half arsed what-if modelling muppetry from zenrat industries.

'New in box'?

I think that particular box dates back to the 70s, maybe even the 60s, NO way is it any sort of 'new'!

And £49? On yer bike!

I've got a British Caledonean one if anyone is interested in it, and a British Airways Trident.
If I'm not building models, I'm out riding my dirtbike

I picked up one of those, in that boxing for £9 at last years Glasgow show.
I always hope for the best.
