This ones been on for about two years on and off, don't really see the sellers point in keeping listing it all this time , he's got no hope of selling at this price.

eBay selling defaults to auto-relisting unless you deselect it, so it's probably no bother to him.  In fact it might be quite sensible to put one's entire stash up on eBay at high list prices instead of having it sit static in the roofspace.  Even if just two or three items sell for silly prices then you've made it a revenue generator instead of a cost sink.

NARSES2

E-Bay only automatically re-lists for a set number of weeks (6 or 7) and will automatically reduce the asking price unless you tell it not to. Even then it will ignore your request after a couple of weeks  :banghead:

All part of the most recent changes that I absolutely detest with a passion.

Wow, $7.99!  Wouldn't happen nowadays in the UK, the charity staff research typical selling prices before listing anything or putting it out in the shop ( if it's worthless drek )

Someone got a LOT of plastic for their money, and only ONE bidder too!  :o

Whats the better it is actually a 1/72 kit and they used the wrong picture to represent it?   :banghead:

Trading on eBay is a 1/72 scale model of the Saunders Roe Princess flying boat,  this is a 3-D model for $195, but I can't help thinking it reminds me of a kitbash using a C-97, Blohm and Voss BV-222 plus the Airfix BAe Nimrod or Mach2 Comet 4C.

Unpainted, badly put together, almost completely assembled and broken Airfix Rotodyne.

I've made an offer for what I think it's worth   - $5.
I'm awaiting a response.

I've recently been looking for Airfix Westland Whirlwinds (the fighter) on E-Bay and the price range has been staggering. I really don't understand where some people even begin to come from ?

There's a few on now which I think are fair, so I'll probably try for those. I've a few SH ones in the stash (it's one of my favourite aircraft) but I want to cut an Airfix one up.

The Rotodyne bloke turned my offer down.  Funny that.
