My gob has been smacked,  and not in a good way.  Considering I just did a quick Google search and found two copies on Fleabay for 50 bucks.

(Sc)Amazon was 120, used "in very good condition"

The one I bought a few months ago is an ex-library book, it's not in the best shape but the pages are in decent nick which is the main thing. I can always upgrade to a better version if one becomes available at a decent price, hence the notification in the first place.

Just cruising the internet and found that Walmart sells Testors paints online. Only they want $7.44 per quarter oz bottle! Unicorn pee or what? Metallics are even more!  I'll go to Hobby Lobby, thanks but no thanks....

I'm paying $7 Kiwibucks plus postage for Vallejos... MM, if you can get 'em, are about the same.
Ah the Joys! of being at the end of the supply chain, and being a small enough market not to matter...

Rick I feel for ya .. same problems here too ..soooo I'm using afterpay
It's brilliant and of course to save coins I'll buy only from stores with afterpay and buy 4 or 5 bottles at a time ..one postage charge  ;)
Which reminds me actually...need a few more colours...oh never buy multiple paints from mighty ape..they charge a separate postage fir each paint  :banghead:

I've been looking for an A or B-26 Invader in the one true scale.
Found some old Airfix for ridiculous prices from the USA (with equally ridiculous postage).
But then lucked out locally with an Italeri Counter Invader (which is what I was really after anyway) for a reasonable amount and for less than the repotted one will be when it finally reaches these shores.

I didn't know that!  :o
Tho not if you're a Primate member - free postage.
But the catch is you'll have to buy enough to more than offset the cost of the membership with what you'd have paid in postage...

Yeah I'm not falling into the primate trap..it forces you to spent more so you think your saving money...paint sets tho ain't bad price wise ..postage ain't either but why they done have afterpay is a mystery to me...they'd sell much more and I'd have more paint sets  ;D

Do you actually mean Primate rather than Premier ?   I'm intrigued as Wardukw uses the term as well.

Considering they mention Mighty Ape which is a retail company then yes. It's a Members club.
