I got a 72nd scale one of these, I paid about a fiver for it. I felt robbed at that too as it still had its original price ticket on for 30 pence

For £400 you could by a real Subaru but only 4x4 & no wings ;D

Their much more in-demand 1/20th Cessna 172 goes for around $250.
you may as well all give up -- the truth is much stranger than fiction.

I'm not sick ... just a little unwell.

I'm certain Aircav bought one of those 1/20th aircraft kits at a show recently, and he didn't pay anything like that

Now come on guys. That is an original plastic bag issues, with a transfer sheet that is no doubt no longer useable, but hey some idiot will pay that price.
Anyone want to buy one in the later bubble pack, has to be much cheaper.

£39.95  :o :o :o :banghead:

Hard to find, that is, if your local hobby shop doesn't stock Dapol. If they do, you can buy one for £6.98 and build it a damn site better than that one (and if he gets £40 for it, I might well be doing just that):

Strewth!  :o :banghead:

And the current Dapol styrene is loads better to work with than the ultra-brittle stuff that Airfix used on the originals too!

I got a couple of them, maybe I should get them built and sold on ebay.  ;)

Check out this listing for an Airfix Bond Bug...there's only marginally more plastic in the real thing, I reckon...!

...
and I'm sure a mate of mine bought a real one for less!

I think Ebay should have a "Buy it never" button too for muppets like these.
