I think Ebay should have a "Buy it never" button too for muppets like these.

Unsurprisingly, it didn't sell - but he's relisted it for £299.99 !!

I wonder how much in EBay fees he'll have to pay until it gets down to a more reasonable price?  ;D

Tell me about it!  What's wrong with having a low start price to attract attention, and setting a reasonable reserve to ensure your profit margin?
Folks see £300+ prices, and immediately ignore the listing...

Some people have more money than sense.   Who'd want a soiled pair of underpants?

Maybe they're for the Japanese market - I've heard tell that on Tokyo street corners, there are vending machines...that dispense used ladies knickers... :o

Looks to me like they've been using it as an umbrella stand with the base the way it is.  ;D

That's £228.00 for an amphibious truck model less than 32cm long to you sir................

Edit: just realised: it's resin, not injected. Still a lot of money though.............

The latest issue of SAM (amazingly the March issue....) has a review of the new CyberHobby/Dragon 1/72 Sea King HC4 kit. That's the one without floats that made its name in the Falklands carrying everything when the majority of the Chinooks went down with the 'Atlantic Conveyor'. As you'd expect with anything from Dragon the review is pretty darn critical of the kit, various parts apparently belonging to other versions of the ubiquitous Westland built machine. Even the listed colour scheme comes in for some criticism and the reviewer ends with the comment 'Close but no cigar'.

But nowhere in the entire review does he mention the price of this styrene disaster area, which is a penny short of £35.00!!!

Thirty five pounds for a 1/72 scale Sea King? And it's not even correct! That's daylight robbery, and even paying out the £14.00 the latest version of the Airfix Sea King and adding all the resin and PE bits wouldn't cost you that much.

RIDICULOUS!  :banghead:
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)

Kit

That's standard Cyber Hobby pricing Kit. I wouldn't mind the Val, but I'm not paying £34.99
