Just a little optimistic unless its really a 1:1 scale item

Thats got to be a mistype; either that or the seller is SERIOUSLY deluded

Well I've asked him the question ....he has several way overpriced kits on offer, but also a couple of normal priced ones ....very strange ?
Oh to be whiffing again :-(

Anyone fancy a 1/250th scale injection Armstrong Whitworth Argosy? Get your wallet out then....

Two words in that title should make you run a mile, 'Tokyo Plamo'. Aaaaaaagggghhhhh!  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Seems that there are too many Revell 1/144 Airbus A380 kits in circulation, prices ranging from £20-29. Although if you are after the kit with interior seating this could set you back £130.
The Boeing 747 is a big kit in 1/144 scale got two in my stash, I suppose one more kit won't hurt!

I'll see your two and raise you six.  ;D

A 747 is one airliner kit you can't have too many of as you can always find a use for engines, landing gear, fins, tailplanes etc on various Whiffs. And make sure they're REVELL ones, the Airfix kit is 100% junk!

Have you ever seen a Tokyo Plamo kit Cap'n?  :o

If ANY of the parts fit any of the others it'd be a miracle, and they'd probably not be intended to fit in the first place. Back in the 60s I had to build some of their abysmal attempts at 'injection moulding' and I don't think I managed to finish any of the half dozen or so to any level of satisfaction.

Tokyo Plamo are maybe the only serious competor to Starfix as 'The World's WORST Plastic Kit Manufacturer'.

Aircraft in Miniature, here's a pic of one half of one overlaying the C-5 scaled drawing.

Wow that is big.
I suppose the rareness of the kit determines the price and condition. I'll have to go on a rumage in the stash.

Not always. Cost of materials and complexity of the model also add to the price.

Well it's not rare McColm, you can buy one through Hannants. Either a -100/200 or a -300

http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/TW7212001

When I bought my first one back in the 90's, it cost me nearly GBP 70.00 with almost that amount for shipping.  The second one cost me GBP 116.00 but today Hannants has them at GBP 154.00.  Not sure what the shipping for the second one cost as when I bought it I got an AModel 1/72 Antonov An-22 at the same time. IIRC the shipping came to about 80 quid for the two.
