Besides costing more than all the other X-32 kits currently on sale on ebay together, if you're a foreign customer he's only using International Priority Shipping through the Global Shipping Program, so the delivery costs are doubly ludicrous.

Yep, $108 to ship it to me.

Sh!t and it's the Revell re-box too. I've got the original Italeri kit in my stash ---- wonder if that is worth anything ---

I've got one too, but I daren't even look at the box art as I may turn to stone, it's THAT ugly!  :o
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

Yeah! I can't believe they even contemplated it for the fly-off

The Italeri 1/72 Me 323 powered glider on eBay at £186, bought the Me 321 for a crisp twenty pound note. Apart from the wheels and a different wing can't see the hike in the price :banghead:

Captain Canada

That Phantom kit is insane !

They have pages and pages of these outrageous prices. Wonder if they ever sell anything ? Wonder what they consider a reasonable offer when they are asking 20 USD more than the kit is worth ?

AIRFIX
ORIGINAL ROY CROSS ARTWORK
for the ROYAL NAVY RN WESTLAND WHIRLWIND HAR MKI HEICOPTER

This artwork comes directly from Mr Roy Cross.
This is the final original 'try out' sample sketches using ink, gauche and grey lead pencil.

These were drawn pre any colour work drawings and designed to fine tune what would look good for the final box artwork.  This sketch is clearly the final version approved by Airfix for the final artwork colour artwork to be drawn.
Also included is the original factory proof printing of the original header also signed by Mr Cross.
Some of these sketches I have for sale may have been used in Mr Cross's latest book on Airfix artwork.

This is an original sketch by Roy Cross and signed by him on the bottom right hand corner.
It represents a once in a lifetime chance to own your own piece of Airfix history, as almost all the original artwork for the 1960's iconic kits was all destroyed years ago.
A sensational piece of artwork for the dedicated Airfix collector.

This isn't a plastic kit they're offering, it's  the Original Roy Cross concept sketch & original factory proof print, direct from Roy Cross ..... I think it's probably worth the AU $1,809.38 asking price.

I agree with Old Wombat.  Probably a fair price.
It'd look really good on my wall.  Wish I had money like that to spend.

The prices for the 1/72 Heller EC-121 are in the £70 range on eBay.
OzMods do a resin radar set whilst various other manufacturers do the engine set also in resin. RVHP also does the rotodome set, this is also pricey.
