And the seller's ID is 'Simplythebestprices' too! How stupid can they get?  :banghead:

The Wooksta!

Hannants are wanting over 30 notes for the as yet unreleased Valom Firebrand.  I've some advice for them regarding sex and travel.  I'm sure the CMR kit is about that price and I won't pay that either.

The Firebrand is a big 'ole airplane, but it's not THAT big to cost THAT much!  :o

Perhaps it was contracted out to Hasegawa to mould?

Well, it's a Hasegawa kit.  ;)

Yeah, my point precisely!  :o

Discontinued some time ago, so ebay collector pricing is in effect.
It was $21.62 on HLJ when released, ebay prices vary from $45 to $142.

It is a big aeroplane. I would have thought in today's market it would have been - £25 to £30 - but over £30 is a bit steep even with the current exchange rate.

I've a pair of their Mk II's in the stash. Unfortunately I've peeled the price label off so can't compare, but the CMR Mk V kit in the stash was only just £30, but that was quite a while ago.
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

The Wooksta!

He does have a pair of Skybirds Hornets at little shy of 30 notes apiece.  But hey - FREE postage!

AND an Airkit Seafire for the same price.  I wouldn't pay that for a CMR one!

And no, I'm not tempted...
