Owing to the current financial difficulties, the light at the end of the tunnel will be turned off until further notice.

This guy wants twenty notes for a Ventura Spitfire mk 18?

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ventura-SUPERMARINE-SPITFIRE-FR-Mk-18-1-72-SEALED-INJECTION-MOULDED-AIRFIX-ESCI/333578538034?hash=item4daad48c32:g:30AAAOSwhplejK~u

And the prices of his other stuff doesn't make sense either - a Heller Komet for the same price as the Spit and a Revell Kawanishi Ginga is also the same price?  The Komet is a current kit and AFAIK, the Revell Ginga's moulds have long since vanished.

And 100 notes for an Airfix 144th Shuttle?  Off ye can sh*te!

Someone on eBay has the Airfix 1/43 Jaguar 420 kit for sale at £250. The diecast convertible is around £60, whilst the limo is £20.

PR19_Kit

I think that Jag 420's a 1/32 kit, I turned one into a slot racer back in the 60s.

They do go for high prices as they've been OPP for ages, I sold one about 2 yrs ago and was astonished that it went for £85 at auction!  :o

Yeah.  TBH, you can't GIVE them away these days and she's wanting that?  She's got more chance of sexual relations with the Pope...

Have a look at her other prices too.

Have you seen the prices the same seller is asking for with other kits?  These people are quite clearly mentalists.

Second that. People's ideas about model kit kit prices have recently become ridiculous. Just had a discussion with an ebay seller for a combo of vintage Japanese mecha kits and made an offer - and got the reply "What do you think? Looks what these kits cost on ebay!". Sad development, only thing you can do is not to buy, but the price levels climb because everyone beleives that those inflated figures were real.

Sellers often fall into the trap, when setting their prices, of looking at historic asking prices rather than historic selling prices.

I know these are fairly expensive as I have been following them on eBay but this.....

No, I'd say that's probably around the right price.  Tamiya Lancs have never been cheap and that's the one with the new sprues.
