The BR developed LIM 'hovercar' still exists too, together with some monster track sections, at the Science Museum out-stattion at Wroughton. Sadly they never seem to open the place any more, even on their published 'Viewing Days, as Mrs PR19 and I went last year to find the gates locked and barred!

The BR thingie was developed into the original people-mover at Birmingham Int. Airport, but it used LIMs as hover-pads as well as traction devices. I hate to think how much their electricity bill cost!
Kit's Rule 1 ) Any aircraft can be improved by fitting longer wings, and/or a longer fuselage
Kit's Rule 2) The backstory can always be changed to suit the model

...and I'm not a closeted 'Take That' fan, I'm a REAL fan! :)
