Ian the Kiwi Herder

Was hoping this would be a 'quick build' project, but as you can see, it's turned into a wee bit of a putty hog. Not to worry tho' I think I've wrestled it into submission now. Next stop will be the paint shed, but not until Friday at the earliest.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Looking forward to this one Ian. Not my period but there are certain types that grab my attention
Do not condemn the judgement of another because it differs from your own. You may both be wrong.

Mossie

Agreed, definately an attention grabber this one!  I've often fancied picking one up myself, but I rarely see them on the shelf.

See what you mean about putty hog, fair bit of work needed on it for such a modern kit.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

Always watch one of these...

I've got one that I fancy converting to a ventral intake (like the original scheme), but I havn't worked up the nerve yet...

Most interesting!  Can't wait to see what scheme you'll adorn it with!

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Will be watching this too Ian,
I have one in the stash, can't decide whether to do it as  SHADO aircraft with forward swept wings or an in current service US Navy/Marines bird.
Cheers,
Chris.

I've stopped guessing with Ian's stuff, don't think I've got it right yet!  Although RAF in wraparound would be nice....

I think it would be equally attractive in FAA colors. Still haven't tackled mine, either.

Allways like the idea  a F-107 naval bird - some of of back-up or alternative to the Crusader - only with less chance of swallowing a crewman.

We shall wait and see.
Whatever.
