One small point, if I may: rotor blades droop considerably when they're at rest. Do you not think there's a danger of them clouting those upswept forward wings as they slow down?

Well not MY rotorblades ;D :party: But no even typical rotorblades should not clip them as the apex of each wing is still below the lowest part of the engine housing. The design backstory is that the entire build is new tech. Frame is titanium/aluminum covered in composites/superplastics (some other science fiction terms and explanations inserted here)

Awful jokes aside, the tech already exists.  The Westland Lynx combines BERP blades & a hingless hub so it doesn't need those little blue pills!
