Hi all  <_<
I really like the concept and I want to see what will come of it .
For this project I will use the 1/72 La-5 kit from Revell,Gaz-67 wheels from 1/35 Parc Models kit, various components from other models for suspensions and,of course, some scratch .
I will begin construction soon, for now, some pics to give you an idea .

Me, I'm dishonest, and you can always trust a dishonest man to be dishonest.
Honestly, it's the honest ones you have to watch out for!!!

Awesome!

Will this be a racer or have some military application?
Cheers,

Must, then, my projects bend to the iron yoke of a mechanical system? Is my soaring spirit to be chained down to the snail's pace of matter?

Yeah, like this, very much up there with PW's creation based on the Junk Tank Rock Talon.  I do like that grille, great stuff.
I don't think it's nice, you laughin'. You see, my mule don't like people laughin'. He gets the crazy idea you're laughin' at him. Now if you apologize, like I know you're going to, I might convince him that you really didn't mean it.

I must admit, when I saw that model I thought ''waaaaw I have to do something like this''.
Once I saw the same concept with a Messerschmitt Bf-109 and something similar on this forum with FW-190 http://www.whatifmodelers.com/index.php/topic,31208.msg479849.html#msg479849

Hmm I see at least half a dozen MOT test failures on this beast.  I like it
I always hope for the best.
Unfortunately,
experience has taught me to expect the worst.

There's only one problem with ww2 fighter fuselage-style car designs, and that's the scale. They should be built 1/1 scale because they'd simply be totally awesome to actually drive around in..
But as the next best thing the scale model concept is great! I say you got a green light!
