A2Zee have been working with Freightdog and the Boulton Paul association to produce a pair of new 1/72 resin kits:-

Both look on par with the Fairey Gannet AEW3 kit also produced by A2Zee.

Ali from A2Zee has just released a new conversion for the new Airfix Lightning F-2A kit in 1/72. This provided replacement upper wings, fin and belly tank to allow the F1 and F3 lightnings to be be built

Plus you can get the F1a and F2 out of the same conversion too:

F1 - Take/leave off cable ducts and remove intake on spine
F1a - Remove spine intake
F2 - as conversion
F3 - as conversion but keep kit fin.

You might be able to get a P1B out of it too, but you'd need to know the details of the airframe you're doing.

Mind, it's going to whack up the price for those who want an early Lightning - £15 for the base kit and another £12 for the conversion = £27.  How much are the Whirlybird complete kits?

If we're talking about A2Zee, what happened to his proposed Manchester and Lincoln conversions?
