What's the deal ? They don't have a Fierfly so they're just dressing up Spits ?

Yes.  Its a way of getting something that at least looks like a Firefly into that game until someone does a new aircraft which looks more like the Firefly, I think you'll find.   Not sure if you can add new aircraft very easily to IL-2.
