The Czechs almost chose the Fw 190D over the Bf 109 as they had about 100 airframes, so that one would have a toenail in reality.

There's an interesting Czech 190A (might be an F) in the Czech AF museum at Kleby. The spiel "suggests" some were assembled in Czechoslovakia post war. That's how I remember it anyway. Martin H may have other interpretations

The Tamiya one knocks spots off any of the other Doras in 72nd.  Although the wing's for a D-13 rather than a D-9.

Not D's, might have some A's. Don't forget you have a Corsair and P.47 to pick up

Many thanks......still wondering about the centreline gun.....the 75mm in a pod,a 30mm in a pod or use a FW190 twin 20mm pack that was mounted on the wing.....not as hard hitting though....anyone any ideas....?

I had bought some rattle cans from Halfords......car paint obviously....(a lot cheaper for a lot more).....sprayed on a treat....stuff was really thin and gave a great finish, sort of satin. However....the colours didnt quite look like the sticker on the cap... :banghead:...the sand colour was more creamy.....the dark green was a bit brighter than expected and the dark brown was more a reddy colour....beautiful finish but completely wrong colours....back to the old paint tins and brush painted....gotta say that the grey Halfords primer is great....left that on as the underside colour on the Il2 and Hs129......
