HMS. Leviathan as Blue Streak launch vessel

bad uncle Thorvic   has talked me into joining the build, just picked up the Heller 1/400 scale HMS. Colossus/Arromanches which i intend to complete as a Blue Streak satellite launcher for the group build (and will fit in with my current UK. space programme builds for the IPMS. project Cancelled SIG. display at Telford this year)

on order is the White ensign detailing set for the kit and a pair of 1/400 Wessex choppers to help add scale, so ill get underway with piccies when the frets arrive (hmm hoping it provides lil porthole rings and gutters on the etch)

The words "Blue Streak"  set my whiskers twitching, as it was tested about 15 miles east of where I lived, and I could look out of my bedroom window on a Thursday afternoon (yes, it was usually Thursdays for some reason) and see the huge clouds of smoke (and steam from the cooling water) at Spadeadam.   I look forward to seeing the finished item...........and can I eventually expect a Black Prince    in due course, please, please, please.......

dug the model back outv the back room ... todays been spent assembling the superstructure and adding yet more fiddly brass bits 
the fun parts done tho, iv a little 400 scale 'Blue Streak' to place upon its deck 
im sure iv some old model railway etchings sitting somewhere in the piles which i'll use to add an interior to the 'VAB' type covering block
